The Divine Mother energy of the Moon is considered to be exalted here...or in its most fertile and positive placement. This particular New Moon in Taurus has brought you to a major turning point and the planetary set up is exceptionally fertile for planting new seeds. For starters, it's a Super Moon (one of 5 you'll be experiencing this year) ...and that means the Moon is closest to Earth at the same time it's birthing this new cycle...REALLY powerful...and emotional. Ocean tides can be more extreme than usual now and so can your moods, but this stronger-than-usual magnetic pull can also work to your advantage if you make the most of the energy with your Taurus Lunar Journal. A big indicator that this is a turning point is the fact that the Moon is smack dab in the middle of Taurus AND this New Moon squares the New Moon solar eclipse that occurred 90 days ago on February 6th. Look back in your lunar journal for the dreams and visions you took action on then. This clues you in to the corner you've got to turn now regarding your values and objectives... so your personal idea of sustainable security is in sync with your bigger vision for the future of humanity and the planet. The ruler of this New Moon...Venus (queen of balance, beautiful living, and love) travels with the Sun and Moon in Taurus emphasizing your material state of affairs and your approach to them. If you're feeling overly concerned, your intuition is stronger than usual now, so remember to listen to your inner guidance. Then your concerns can guide you to inspired and sensible solutions. Venus is also part of a lovely easy-flowing set up of planetary energies in all 3 earth signs (master-form-builder Saturn in practical Virgo, expansive lucky Jupiter in long-range- planner Capricorn, and magnetic Venus in fertile Taurus) divinely supporting you in changing what no longer works. You've got serious encouragement regarding responsible new approaches to your resources, if you're willing to be aware of and accountable for unsuccessful attitudes and practices. No doubt you've been feeling the build up to this one! Four planets in a stressful face off bring you to a crossroads...telling you that something's definitely got to give. This planetary configuration is called a grand cardinal cross...and it means you've reached not one, not two, not three...but four turning points! Each planet speaks to an area of your life ready for action. For starters, two of those planets are the Sun in Aries telling you to take a chance and some initiative and the Moon in Libra showing you where others' needs have to be taken into consideration. So right off the bat, you know relationships are one place high stress and major insights can be found now. (A Moon Mate reading is another great way to gain major relationship insights.)
